Marketing & Community Operations Intern

We are looking for a young, bright mind to join our Community and Marketing team. As the company is currently in an active growth stage, there are many areas where we need fresh energy, great ideas and an extra set of hands. The successful candidate will assist the team in Malta with maintaining and developing the company’s promotional and awareness drivers, help consolidate all Sales and Marketing support functions, collect and analyze customer metrics to drive engagement and growth of our investment communities as well as work on the design and launch of new products.

Your key responsibilities will Include:

• Assist with maintaining and developing the company’s promotional and awareness drivers
• Assist in optimising awareness and attendance of investment events & training sessions using digital marketing tools
• Follow up potential acquisitions, help activate new users & increase member retention
• Help consolidate all Community and Marketing support functions, with the aim of ensuring operational effectiveness, assisting with the use, maintenance and development of the department’s processes, tools and systems operated by the company
• Assist with data collection, compilation and reporting of customer metrics to drive engagement and hack growth of our investor communities
• Provide operational support for our in-person and online investor community events
• Provide constant feedback to and assist the Operations and Product teams with the aim to constantly improve upon the investor experience
• Execute the onboarding process, including investor due diligence

What we’re looking for:

• English: Proficient level both written and oral
• Reading for a Bachelor or Master level in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Finance, Engineering or IT or any other suitable course of study
• Oral and written knowledge of French and/or German will be considered an asset
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in social media and office suites, preferably Google’s Apps suite including Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Calendar and Groups

Subsistence covered:

Travel to Malta, transport and accommodation in Malta may be subsidised for overseas candidates

Side notes:

• Intern must have an appropriate health insurance to cover their stay during the internship
• Candidate should bring a functioning laptop
• Candidate must understand and be willing to work in a team that is both local and virtual
• Preference is given if the internship is part of an accredited program by the candidate’s educational institution
